Muscle Rub 40g

DESCRIPTION

Radian B muscle rub is a cream containing menthol, camphor, methyl salicylate and capsicum oleoresin. It works by reducing inflammation and by causing counter-irritation in the area where it is applied, which helps to soothe pain in the underlying tissues.

Methyl salicylate is a derivative of aspirin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. When applied to the skin it is absorbed into the underlying tissues, where it reduces pain and inflammation in the local area.

Camphor, methyl salicylate and capsicum oleoresin are counter-irritants. When applied to the skin they cause cause redness and a sensation of heat to be produced. This distracts the brain from the original pain and therefore reduces the perception of pain.

Menthol causes the blood vessels on the surface of the skin to widen. It causes a sensation of coldness followed by a reduction in pain.

Radian B muscle rub is used to relieve the symptoms of muscular aches and pains such as muscle stiffness, backache and fibrositis. The act of massaging the rub into the painful area also helps to relieve symptoms.
